We had a car shuffle and needed car seats that fit in a sedan instead of the captain seats of a minivan. After quite a bit of searching and trying to decide if we could move to a booster vs. the 5 pt convertible seats, I opted for the Monterey Booster from Sunshine kids. It is running about $120. It is not 5 point, but I felt like ti was almost as secure. The amount of padding and construction around the head is impressive. It is one of the few boosters that has LATCH. While they claim that LATCH is not needed and the seatbelt does all the work, I like the added security. Also it keeps the seats from moving around when the kids get in AND they can do their own buckling!! Big Plus+ I have had them about 2 weeks and am very comfortable with the transition.The only con: This is not a Graco booster you will move from car to car. This seat is Heavy!Extra note: make sure you read about the adjustment for the shoulders.
