It has decent video and decent audio. A neighbor nearby recently had a baby, however, and now I constantly pick up their monitor.. video and all! I regularly have to switch channels (there are only 3) to find the clearest picture/sound of my baby. Many times I have to listen to static all night long! Probably not an issue if you're not near anyone using this same monitor but watch what you say and wear!
