Where to purchase Stork Craft Hoop Glider and Ottoman, Natural/Beige Looks very nice but lacks of durability due to cheap woodBy J. SHENWe bought this item in February 2011 for my wife who was pregnant, and were very happy about it. We thought the chair was a good buy, as it priced much cheaper than similar product we saw at Babies r us. Unfortunately, the glider looks nice but is not durable -- due to the cheap wood used. Two days ago (9 June, 2011), my wife was sitting on the chair, and suddenly one of the wood supports broke and almost cut her. I inspected carefully the cross section of the broken piece and realized the differences between this glider and the more durable one -- the wood used is extremely cheap, definitely not in the same class as oak, cherry wood, or alike. I took some pictures on the broken piece, and will attempt to post at Amazon. In the meantime, I will also attempt to contact the manufacturer and see if I could get any feedback (we lost the assembly instruction, but will try to find from the website).
