The hanging toys are all very heavy, the three interlocking monkeys fell on my sons head and each one has to weight half a pound, if not more. the other hanging toys are also heavy and cumbersome, my three month old doesn't have great hand coordination yet and I feel like he raps his knuckles on the stupid rattle a lot. The fabric birds could have had crinkle in them, but F.P. skimped on that (not surprising). The mat design is also not that inspiring or fun. All in all this thing is at the bottom of the baby play gym genre.
