Buying Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper Original Bassinet, Coco Natural Nice to haveBy Aaron FowlerLove this product. My son is 3 weeks and preferred our arms at first but now sleeps in the co sleeper. My only negative is that it is large next to the bed especially if you have a nightstand at the head of the bed and then the co sleeper. I was pretty mobile after giving birth, but getting out of bed every two hours to feed him was hard because I had to scootch down the bed to get out. I would probably get the mini co sleeper if I chose again. We haven't packed it up (I bought the original to try and save money by not having to buy another play pin) but we bought a used play pin so we don't have to take it own and set it up multiple times if we visit my parents. Lovely Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper Mini Bassinet Convertible, Natural Best Baby Item to dateBy JaWe love this co-sleeper. Granted it's a bit of work to break down. Once we get the hang of it it's no problem. We've taken it on trips that are more than one overnight. We have not used it as a play yard yet. We have The mini (not convertible) for work and the bottom storage gets a lot of use. Just got this Fisher-Price Zen Collection Gliding Bassinet Nice, but not perfect, good overall valueBy J. HILLWe chose this over a standard furniture bassinet, or the one by Eddie Bauer that is carried by Babies 'R Us and Target. It is better looking than those, and the motion / sounds made it seem like a good buy.Pros:- Nice looking, not chintzy in appearance, good quality- Built-in sounds are good, our baby actually likes the heartbeat sound- never thought those would really work, but he cries the second it comes off (at one month old, anyway).- Back/forth motion seems to help if he is a little restless, although it's no substitute for holding himCons:- the sounds play only for a pre-set time, then you have to hit the button again- like I said, our guy cries instantly, whether he seems asleep or not, the second the sounds stop. And the sounds only play for a few minutes before they turn off.
